forms scientific advisory boards for specific functions. By clicking
below you can see an example of the group assembled by BHL to collaborate
on a NIMH grant to develop a National Practice Research Network (PRN).
The PRN will bridge the gap between our industry leading naturalistic
outcome database, clinicians, and academic researchers across the country.

Bridging
the divide between clinicians and academic researchers
One of the
most exciting extensions of our work at BHL is our collaboration between
researchers and our extensive network of clinicians. Working with leading
academics in the field, we are facilitating academic research in the real
world. As clinicians, we have long expressed concern that academic studies
have little relevance to ongoing clinical work. The PRN will benefit policy
makers, administrators, clinicians and clients by providing research-based
clinical solutions to real clinical problems.
There are
multiple benefits attached to participation in the PRN. These often include:
- Free
training for your staff in cutting edge treatments
- Free
CEUs for your staff
- Payment
to your staff and clients
- Free
outcome measurement
- Free
hardware and software
Regardless
of active participation, all providers will benefit from the knowledge
generated.
